Big Fish Games

Plunder is a puzzle adventure game in which you use strategic bomb detonation to get your ships across the screen, while gathering loot, sinking other vessels, and clearing perilous nautical obstacles. I worked in tandem with the game designer and producer to turn business and content requirements into flows, interfaces and interactions that felt seamless, intuitive and fun. Seemingly endless iterations were spent streamlining the Ship Upgrade interface and polishing the map-story-level loop so that players felt motivated to to play over time. Low fidelity wireframes were provided as well as high fidelity visual mockups and art direction on key features. It was also a pleasure contributing pirate jokes.
